MARK NELSON'S ENGAGEMENT PARTY. SATURDAY
12TH JUNE
Mark would like to invite all club members
to help him celebrate his engagement at
the St Helens Function Room in Swansea Rugby
Club, St. Helens Swansea on Saturday 12th
June 2010. The party starts at 7.30 and
finishes late. There will be a buffet, disco
and even maybe a hypnotist! so make sure
that you are there!
VETERANS RUNNERS UP
Our Mens Veterans team finished 2nd in
the Welsh cup at Wrexham in May, bringing
to an end nearly a decade of dominance in
this competition. full report to follow.

SENIOR TRAINING
Started
on Wednesday 16th September for Junior Boys
under 15's and also
Mens 1st
and 2nd team squads. time: 8.00-9.30pm
Mens Club
training and Ladies
training starts on Thursday 17th September.
time: 7.00-8.30pm
JUNIOR TRAINING
Junior training
for under 9s will begin on Wednesday September
16th, 6.30pm-7.15pm
Junior training for under 11s will begin
on Wednesday September 16th,7.15pm - 8.00pm
Junior training for under 13s will begin
on Thursday September 17th, 6.00pm - 7.00pm.
All training will take place at King George
V Playing Fields, Sketty Lane.
FITNESS TRAINING
Richard
Jones will be taking a weekly fitness session
- Meet at Ashleigh Rd every Monday
at 7pm - all welcome.
These will not be "Killer Sessions"
and will be suitable for all shapes and
sizes to attend.
WELSH VETERANS TEAM 2009
29th-30th
August 2009. The Wales International Over
40's team captained by Richard Jones came
second in the Home International Tournament
hosted by England at Portsmouth. The Team
included Chris Wall, Carlo Lucignoli, Paul
Thomas, Billy Barletta and also ex-Swans
players Enzo Favro and Declan Colclough.
They beat Ireland 2-0 Drew with Scotland
1-1 and lost to the English 2-0 and achieved
second place in the tournament. Well done
lads!

VETERANS WIN
The Veterans team won the Welsh Cup on
19th
& 20th April at Wrexham. That is now
6 consecutive seasons Swansea has won the
title. Swansea beat Northop Hall in the
final on penalty strokes, full time score
