TO HOLLAND &
BELGIUM - 2010
DATES, TIMES AND LOCATION OF FIXTURES
SHOWN IN THIS ITINERARY REMAIN SUBJECT TO
FINAL CONFIRMATION. PLEASE NOTE THAT PLACES
ARE LIMITED DUE TO THE SIZE OF THE COACH
AND WILL BE SECURED ON A FIRST COME FIRST
SERVED BASIS UPON PAYMENT OF A £50
DEPOSIT TO LES MALINOVSZKY
MONDAY 05 APRIL:
Assemble at Swansea Bay Hockey Club for
departure no later than 1600 hrs by coach
on your journey to Harwich. You will arrive
in time to check-in at the ferry port at
least one hour before departure of the Stena
Line crossing at 2345 hrs to The Hook of
Holland.
Cabin accommodation is provided for your
overnight crossing.
TUESDAY 06 APRIL:
A buffet breakfast is included on the ferry
this morning, before arriving in The Hook
of Holland at 0745 hrs. Disembark, and initially
you could enjoy a visit to Amsterdam for
sightseeing.
You could perhaps visit Anne Frank’s
House. Not only is the house a timeless
tribute to Anne, her family and fellow hiders,
but it is a Monument to all of those who
suffered the perils of the Nazi regime.
For an extra cost of €12.00 per person,
you could enjoy a Canal Cruise, where you
can see and hear about a variety of buildings,
history and other interesting things as
you slowly wind your way through the canals.
Afterwards your coach will transfer you
to The Hague. You will be based here for
two nights in hotel accommodation, on a
bed and continental breakfast basis.
After checking in, you will undertake a
masterclass session with Marc Noto, an ex
player and now professional coach at the
HDM club.
He will be able to develop and advise key
hockey skills such as shooting, tactics,
attacking and defensive skills, as well
as game sense and movement, which you could
put into practice during your tour games
and beyond.
Afterwards, you will transfer to play your
first matches of the tour:
MATCHES No. 1
WEDNESDAY 07 APRIL:
Free morning, and a suggestion is to enjoy
a visit to the Duinrell Tiki Pool, which
is Europe’s biggest indoor slide complex.
The tropical pool is the ideal way to start
your day: first bob up and down on the Lazy
River, and then bounce into the waves in
the wave pool. Water attractions include
turbo slides, water funnels and rapids.
You can whiz down on a tyre along crazy
bends with brilliant lighting effects.
(Cost approx. €12.00 pp. for 4 hour
visit and not included in price of tour.)
Another idea is to visit the Sea Life Centre
in Scheveningen. Here, you can discover
the world beneath the waves of the North
Sea which is brimming with amazing creatures
including sharks, rays and jellyfish.
Walk through the eight-metre long tunnel
and experience a sensation of walking on
the seabed. Do not miss the Tropical Reef
Adventure, with beautiful coloured fish
and a variety of seahorses. In 'Claws' you
will discover the amazing world of lobsters,
shrimps and crabs.
At an agreed time, you will transfer to
play your next matches:
MATCHES No. 2
THURSDAY 08 APRIL:
Check out of your hotel this morning, and
board your coach for your journey to Belgium.
On arrival continue on to Leuven or Brussels,
where you will be based for the final night
of your tour in hotel accommodation, on
a bed and continental breakfast arrangement.
This afternoon/evening, you will meet your
final set of opponents of the tour to play:
MATCHES No. 3
A suggestion this evening is to enjoy some
ten pin bowling at a local entertainment
complex, where you could perhaps enjoy a
bite to eat.
FRIDAY 09 APRIL:
Check out of your hotel this morning, and
travel by coach over the border into France,
and on to Calais. Here you will arrive in
good time to check-in to the ferry crossing
at 1600 hrs back to Dover.
On arrival back in Dover at 1615 hrs, you
will be delivered back to Swansea. Disperse
for home (own arrangements).

GUARANTEED PRICE POLICY
We recognise that almost more than anything
else, a Tour Manager hates going back to
their parent body with price increases.
In order to make it abundantly clear to
you, and we suggest that you let your parent
body have a copy of these details, we want
to make our Guaranteed Price Policy as clear
as we can by explaining how the variables
work with the costing of your tour.
Foreign Exchange
We have a huge focus on currency exchange
rates. We spend so much of our time monitoring
them to advance purchase the currency for
your tour. Exchange rates are volatile so
that the rate we use to calculate your estimate
may have changed by the time you book your
tour. However, we will guarantee the currency
exchange rate on your tour provided it is
booked with two months from estimate date.
If your booking is made outside this deadline,
immediately we receive your signed booking
form and deposit, we will re-cost the currency
and guarantee the revised exchange rates
used.
Air/Ferry Fares
Major scheduled airlines like British Airways,
Emirates, Qantas and South African Airways
open their reservations systems eleven months
from departure day. Low cost airlines such
as Ryanair, easyJet, bmibaby, Jet2 and Flybe
only accept bookings from a six month deadline.
It is only when we can make your reservations
that we will have confirmed the exact fares
the airlines require. We guarantee that
if a final fare differs from the estimated
fare, we will tell you the increase.
Internet based and /or low cost airlines
Unlike major scheduled carriers as outlined
above, whose pricing policies include food,
refreshments, baggage etc, low cost airlines
such as Ryanair, easyJet, bmibaby, Jet2
and Flybe have developed new different,
commercial policies where they are constantly
seeking new ways to eke out additional revenue.
Where we are levied with additional charges
after we have made your reservations with
these low cost carriers, we pass such increases
on to our customers.
Fuel, airport and country taxes, security
charges
We cannot guarantee fuel, government tax,
airport or security charges. We have seen
unprecedented fuel increases on all forms
of travel, worldwide. In 2003, oil was $30
a barrel. It went above $120 in mid April
2008. In addition, governments, airport
authorities and airlines make frequent increases
to airport and security taxes. The price
on your Estimate details current taxes with
security and fuel charges. It is also based
on current fuel costs for coach hire and
ferries (where appropriate).
Final invoice guarantees your price
Once your final invoice is sent out (10
weeks before you leave), provided we receive
your payment within two weeks, we guarantee
there will be no additional charges, unless
you make changes.
